Over 25 years of combined clinical and academic experience in orthodontics. Expert in clear aligner therapy (Invisalign), extraction orthodontics, multiloop edgewise arch wire (MEAW) technique, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), Class II and Class III malocclusion treatment, and biomechanics of tooth movement. Known for systematic approaches to complex orthodontic cases integrating evidence-based biomechanics with aesthetic principles informed by his design background. Research focuses on aligner biomechanics, extraction protocols with aligners, and optimal treatment planning for various malocclusion types.
International lecturer presenting regularly throughout Japan and at international orthodontic conferences on topics including aligner orthodontics with extraction of first premolars, biomechanics and protocols of clear aligner therapy, combination of orthodontic and orthopedic treatment, and evidence-based approaches to complex malocclusions.
