Dermatology spans a broad range of clinical challenges — from diagnosing skin pathologies and understanding the mechanisms of skin aging to managing allergic dermatoses, recognizing oncological red flags, and addressing hair and scalp disorders. This section brings together programs that help physicians build a systematic understanding of dermatology and apply current approaches in everyday clinical practice.

Why dermatology requires continuous learning

The skin is the most accessible organ for observation — and one of the most complex to interpret. Differential diagnosis of skin conditions, understanding pigmentation mechanisms, vascular reactions, immune-mediated disorders, and oncological risks all require both a solid foundation and regular knowledge updates. Modern dermatology is evolving rapidly: new evidence continues to emerge in targeted therapy, regenerative techniques, dermatoscopy, and trichology.

What the programs cover

Dermatology training on OHI-S is organized around the key clinical directions that matter in daily practice.

• Skin pathologies and aging — mechanisms of age-related skin changes, loss of tissue volume and facial soft tissue hypotrophy, pigmentation disorders, acne and post-acne conditions, vascular disorders including rosacea and couperose, striae, scars, hyperhidrosis, cellulite and localized fat deposits.
• Dermatoallergology — atopic diseases, contact reactions, urticaria and edema, other allergic skin manifestations, diagnostics in dermatoallergology, and treatment of allergic dermatoses.
• Cutaneous oncology and dermatoscopy — pigmented and non-pigmented lesions, oncological red flags, dermatoscopy, biopsy, surgical and local treatment methods including cryodestruction, laser therapy, and photodynamic therapy, as well as drug therapy and combined treatment approaches.
• Trichology and hair cosmetology — diagnostics in trichology, PRP in hair cosmetology, scalp mesotherapy, exosomes for hair treatment, laser therapy (LLLT), LED and phototherapy, darsonval therapy, scalp microneedling and electroporation, and treatment of hair loss, seborrhea, and hair fragility.
