Previously: Assistant Professor of Periodontology and Oral Medicine, Witten/Herdecke University, Germany (14 years, 1998–2012); international clinical appointments at the Äskulap Interdisciplinary Clinic, Brunnen, Switzerland (geriatric dentistry, 2012–2013); and Danube Private University, Krems, Austria (2014).

 

Research interests include periodontal and peri-implant diagnostics, aMMP-8 salivary biomarker testing for personalised prevention of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, aerosol management in the dental practice, oral health in geriatric patients, and plastic reconstructive periodontal surgery with collagen matrices. Scientific advisor and webinar presenter for W&H Dentalwerk (Austria) and other international dental companies. Author of peer-reviewed publications in periodontology and preventive dentistry.

 

National and international lecturer on periodontal and peri-implant surgery, pink esthetics (mucogingival surgery), oral health coaching, aerosol management, and dental hygiene education.
