Principal research areas: nickel-titanium (NiTi) endodontic instrument design and mechanical behavior (torque, angle of rotation, fracture resistance), thermal treatment effects on NiTi alloys (CM-wire, Gold-wire, MaxWire, Blue-wire), comparative analysis of rotary vs. reciprocating vs. combined motions, optimized sequencing of endodontic instruments, new endodontic motors and motion control, CBCT-guided 3D endodontic treatment approach, and bioceramic sealer protocols. Developer of the MIMERACI (Minimally Invasive, Maximally Efficacious, Rationally Applied Combined Instrumentation) endodontic treatment concept — a systematic clinical protocol for adaptive NiTi file sequencing. Key Opinion Leader for EdgeEndo (heat-treated NiTi files). Author of more than 500 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and books on endodontics. International lecturer and hands-on course instructor worldwide.
