Primary research focus on root canal irrigation — encompassing irrigant efficacy, activated irrigation protocols, microbiological analysis, and complex histo-morphological analysis of root canal systems using advanced microscopy. Author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and eight book chapters (including one in Spanish and one in Portuguese). Delivered more than 120 lectures worldwide. Scientific Chairman, ROOTS SUMMIT, Athens, Greece (2024). Chair, Jean-Marie Laurichesse Research Grant Award Committee, International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).
