Former Professor of Pediatric Dentistry, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Dental School, Tehran, Iran (2009–2024) — one of Iran's pre-eminent academic pediatric dentists over a 15-year tenure. Former Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry, Ajman University of Science and Technology, UAE (2003–2005).

Research and educational focus spanning behavior management in children, pulp therapy of primary and permanent teeth, dental traumatology, pediatric sedation and general anesthesia, special needs dentistry, space management, and dental developmental anomalies. Co-author of the Atlas of Pediatric Oral and Dental Developmental Anomalies (Wiley-Blackwell, 2019) — a comprehensive illustrated clinical reference co-written with world-renowned pediatric dentists and covering common and rare oral and dental anomalies in children. Editor-in-Chief for over a decade of two Iranian peer-reviewed dental journals: Journal of Dental School (J Dent Sch) and Journal of Pediatric Dentistry (J Pediatr Dent), following the re-establishment of J Dent Sch in 1985. Editorial Board Member, International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry (since 2014). Examiner, Dental Board of Pediatric Dentistry in Iran (2008–2010). First Place Award, National Medical and Dental Education Innovations, Tehran (2012).
