Expert in Odontology, focusing on Odontological Materials, acting on the following subjects: adhesion, resin composite materials, dentine adhesion. Ph.D in São Paulo university. Postdoctorate in Federal university of Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ, Brasil.
President of the German Association for Dentistry and Oral Medicine. President of the German Association of Conservative Dentistry (2012-2014). Dean of Marburg Dental School (2012-2015). Dean for Student Affairs in Medicine, Biomedical Science, and Dentistry (2016-2018).
DDS, MSD, PhD. Dr. Marcos Barceleiro received his DDS from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Dental School, Brazil, in 1996. Received a certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from Rio de Janeiro State University Dental School, Brazil in 1998. Received his MSD in Operative Dentistry from Taubate University Dental School, Brazil in 2002. Obtained his PhD in Operative Dentistry from Rio de Janeiro State University Dental School, Brazil in 2006. Currently, Dr. Barcelerio is an Associate Professor at Fluminense Federal University, Nova Friburgo, Brazil, where he is devoting his time and knowledge with undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Marcos Barceleiro has publised more than 40 scientific articles in his career.
