Former Clinical Professor and Predoctoral Program Director, Division of Periodontology, College of Dentistry, The Ohio State University (2016–2023). Former Associate Professor and Dean, School of Dentistry, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan (1998–2007).
Research and clinical expertise encompassing periodontal regeneration, soft tissue augmentation, ridge preservation, implant surgery in the esthetic zone, guided bone regeneration, ridge-split techniques, and decellularized bone graft applications. Published more than 38 indexed articles in peer-reviewed periodontology and implantology journals. PhD thesis on regulation of periodontal tissue cell differentiation (epidermal growth factor, interleukin-1 receptor pathways), SUNY Buffalo (1997).
Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology (since 2009). Active Member, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Member, Association for Dental Sciences (Taiwan). Member, Taichung City Dental Association (Taiwan).
