Has since cooperated with different research groups at projects related to guided tissue regeneration, guided bone regeneration and implant dentistry.
He is author of more than 30 papers published on peer reviewed magazines, co-author of the book Bone Biomaterials and Beyond where he wrote the chapter on periodontal regeneration.
Active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry, Certified member of the Italian Society of Periodontology, International member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Funding member and vice president of the Bone Biomaterials and Beyond Academy.
Has been a professor at the Master of second degree in Periodontology at Sapienza University of Rome since 2000, at the master in Implantology and prosthetics of the University of Pisa since 2010.
Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Active Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and author of the book “Retreatment of failures in dental medicine”. Scientific Coordinator of the International Implant Conference, Director of O.R.E.C.-Oral Reconstruction and Education Center.
