Lesson 1.Сoncept and implement the technique into general practice (ВОРТ)
The Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique is a paradigm shift in the management of soft tissue around natural teeth and implant prosthetics. The aim of the lecture is to introduce this new concept, which is more than just a vertical preparation.
Explaining the B.O.P.T. concept on teeth:
– history
– evolution
– preparation
– examples.
The B.O.P.T concept - the aesthetic and functional rehabilitation in the aesthetic zone. Using this concept, tissue management is fast, predictable and most importantly, stable. The apical and coronal movement of tissue will be demonstrated defying conventional periodontal protocols.
– smile design
– preps
– tissue management considerations
– use of provisionals.
For the first time - implant prosthodontics using the BOPT concept:
– B.O.P.T protocol on implant abutments
– how the tissue is now behaving differently around implants.
Using case presentations backed by the literature, a step by step protocol from functional and aesthetic planning of the provisionals, finally through to laboratory stages will be demonstrated.
Incorporating:
– restorative dentistry
– minimal prep veneers
– tissue management on bridges
– a comprehensive overview of indirect prosthetic restorations in many applications.
