Доктор Давид Суарес посвятил ортодонтии более 30 лет.

На протяжении этого времени создал несколько методов и процедур в ортодонтии, выделяя метод SWLF (прямой провод с низким трением), разработанный совместно с компанией RMO из Денвера (штат Колорадо), который в настоящее время используется ортодонтами из более чем тридцати стран.

Всемирно известный лектор, преподавал курсы в университетах и научных обществах более чем в 30 странах.

Chairman of Orthodontics, Department of Stomatology since 1994 and Director of the Masters Programme of Orthodontics since 1996 at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Grants: 12 awards and professional honours.

Awards: ‘Rodriguez Abaitua’ of the Royal Medicine Academy of Spain. Research award of the Spanish Dental Council (Consejo General de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de España). Scientific and/or clinical adviser of the: Spain and Galicia Government, Spanish Dental Council, Spanish Dental Foundation, etc.

Member of the EOS, SEDO, WFO, International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and founding Member of different Spanish orthodontic societies (ONO, AESOR, etc) and on the editorial board of five dental/orthodontic journals.

Author or co-author of 14 dental and orthodontic textbooks, 110 orthodontic articles and 145 Congress papers and posters.

Professor and Chairman of Orthodontics specializing in advanced biomechanics, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), aligners, and dentofacial orthopedics. Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, since 1994.

Over 40 years of clinical and academic experience in contemporary orthodontics combining traditional biomechanics with digital workflows and skeletal anchorage systems. Director of the Master's Programme in Orthodontics at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela since 1996, training specialists from across Europe and Latin America. Creator and developer of the Straight Wire Low Friction orthodontic technique in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Orthodontics (Denver, CO). Director of International Orthodontic Center in Santiago de Compostela.

International lecturer teaching courses on microimplants, MARPE (miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion), aligners, and hybrid treatment systems across Europe and Latin America. Scientific and clinical adviser to the Spanish Government, Galicia Government, Spanish Dental Council, and Spanish Dental Foundation.
