En los últimos 10 años hemos terminado más de 250 pacientes adultos con suficiente expansión, sin necesidad de una asistencia quirúrgica. Las cuatro razones principales de este éxito parecen ser la ubicación anatómica ideal, el uso de suficientes mini tornillos largos y fuertes, la rigidez del expansor y un nuevo protocolo controlada de activación policíclica.
