Lead author of the EFP S3 Level Clinical Practice Guideline on Treatment of Stage I–III Periodontitis (Journal of Clinical Periodontology, 2020) — with 1,937 citations, one of the most impactful documents in clinical periodontology produced in this decade. Principal contributions also include first-author systematic reviews and meta-analyses on: lateral and vertical ridge augmentation; soft tissue augmentation effects on peri-implant health; abutment characteristics and peri-implant tissue; immediate implant loading; and complications in bone grafting and sinus procedures.
