Research career built across multiple advanced laboratory environments: Center for Biofilm (Loma Linda), Advanced Imaging and Microscopy Core at Loma Linda School of Medicine, and the Center Facility for Advanced Microscopy and Microanalysis at UC Riverside. Primary research focus on root canal irrigation — encompassing irrigant efficacy, activated irrigation protocols, microbiological analysis, and complex histo-morphological analysis of root canal systems using advanced microscopy. Author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and eight book chapters (including one in Spanish and one in Portuguese). Delivered more than 120 lectures worldwide. Scientific Chairman, ROOTS SUMMIT, Athens, Greece (2024). Chair, Jean-Marie Laurichesse Research Grant Award Committee, International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).
