Diplomate, American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). ABO Director (2017–2025), representing the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists — culminating as President of the American Board of Orthodontics (May 2024). Deputy Editor-in-Chief, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO) and AJO-DO Clinical Companion. Associate Editor, Journal of the World Federation of Orthodontists, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, and Korean Journal of Orthodontics. Editorial board member, The Angle Orthodontist and Seminars in Orthodontics.
Author of over 390 scientific and clinical articles, 3 books, and 23 book chapters. Awards: Charley Schultz Award (1st Place, AAO Resident Scholars Program, 2006); AAO Joseph E. Johnson Clinical Award (1st Place, 2011); 2021 Case Report of the Year Award, College of Diplomates of the ABO; 2021 Award of Merit, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists; 2023 AAOF Louise Ada Jarabak Memorial International Teachers and Research Award. More than 150 invited CE lectures nationally and internationally.
