Los ponentes mostrarán a todos los doctores que se ocupan de la patología de la ATM que la articulación no solo consiste en el cóndilo de la mandíbula inferior, sino también la fosa articular del hueso temporal, es decir, tiene una conexión con el cráneo. La posición de la fosa articular depende directamente del estado de la columna cervical y la posición del cráneo en el espacio.
En el curso se presentará la técnica única del autor para diagnosticar estas estructuras del Dr. Rocabado, que permite comprender:
– cuál es la causa principal de la patología de la ATM
– si el odontologo puede hacer frente a esta patología de forma independiente o si es necesario involucrar a otros especialistas (kinesiólogos, vertebrólogos)
– cuando vale la pena llevar a cabo la rehabilitación integral de pacientes con enfermedad de la ATM.
