Description

Continuation of the most intensive online training on orthodontic biomechanics. After finishing of the first part of the course we received numerous positive reviews by our doctors. All of them want to continue training by Giorgio Fiorelli! During the second online module the lecturer will keep elaborating on orthodontic biomechanics: cantilever and statically determined mechanics, Burstone's Six Geometries, straight wire mechanics, the use of minor bends, V bends and truncated bends, Alpha Beta springs and biomechanics when using TADs. In case you've missed the first training module by Giorgio Fiorelli you can look through all of the recordings and join the second module immediately!

Lesson 1.Biomechanics fundamentals of orthodontic treatment. Part II.

Cantilever Part 2, Advanced topics: Major and Minor Configurations, Composite Cantilevers, 2 Vector Mechanics.

Lesson 2.Biomechanics fundamentals of orthodontic treatment. Part II.

Statically indeterminate mechanics. The Six geometries of Burstone, Understanding the limits and inconsistencies of straight wire mechanics. The use of segments with terminal activation.

Lesson 3.Biomechanics fundamentals of orthodontic treatment. Part II.

Using Minor bends, Steps and V Bends, Truncated V. Alpha Beta springs and their use in different clinical situations (Molar/Canine uprighting, Anterior Torque).

Lesson 4.Biomechanics fundamentals of orthodontic treatment. Part II.

Clinical use of Tads in Space Closure, Distalization, Transversal Asymmetric Movements, Open bite cases.
