General dentist, laser dentistry pioneer, educator, and author in East Hanover, New Jersey (private practice since 1975, retired from direct patient care 2024). One of the earliest adopters of dental lasers in the United States, purchasing his first laser (dLase 300) in 1991 and immediately beginning to train colleagues. A Founding Member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD, incorporated 1993) — the world's leading professional body for laser dentistry education and certification. Over his career with the ALD, held offices of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, and President; chaired the Certification, Finance, Future Sites, and Scientific Conference Committees; and attained all four progressive competency levels recognized by the ALD: Educator Status, Advanced Proficiency, Fellowship, and Mastership.
Founder and Director, Soft Touch Seminars and Consulting (since 1996) — a dental laser education company providing ALD-recognized provider courses to dentists and dental hygienists using real clinical HD video material from his own practice. Director of Training and Support, CAO Group Lasers (since 2013). Author of 20+ nationally published articles on dental laser application. Co-author, Microinvasive Dentistry: Clinical Strategies and Tools (textbook on high-technology diagnostic and caries treatment). Past Officer and Component President, New Jersey Dental Association. Has been practicing laser therapy in orthodontic and general dentistry settings for more than 25 years. International lecturer on dental laser use for the past 27+ years.
