Thanks to our new training, daily work with Class II cavities will become an interesting challenge rather than a problem.
During the training, you will learn ALL stages of working with interproximal defects in molars and premolars:
– anesthesia techniques
– isolation and preparation
– choosing the matrix system
– restoration techniques and working with composite
– finishing and polishing.
Lesson 1.Injection Molding Technique. Step-by-Step Protocol for Posterior Restorations
– The differences between incremental composite restorations and injection molding technique
– Advantages of the injection molding technique
– Improve contact points using spot weld technique using Bioclear matrix
– Step-by-step protocols of the the injection molding technique
– Bioclear protocol for final finish and polish of the restoration
– Clinical case analysis.
Recommended for: Restorative dentists, General dentists.
Lesson 2.Adhesion and composite selection
– Class 2 restorations: etching protocol
– Adhesive application protocol
– Generations of adhesives and selection based on clinical situation
– Physical properties of tooth tissues influencing composite selection
– Histological aspects of dentin and enamel
– Monochromatic vs polychromatic restorations
– Morphology creation: instruments.
Recommended for: Pediatric dentists, Restorative dentist, General dentists.
Lesson 3.Cavity preparation
– Carbide burs
– Diamond burs
– Ultrasonic tips
– Air abrasion
– Caries detection dye
– Adjacent tooth arrangement
– Matrix systems and adaptation
– Proximal anatomy
– Deep margin elevation
– Matrix in matrix technique
– Peripheral seal concept
– Shear bond strength of different dentin layers.
Recommended for: Pediatric dentists, Restorative dentist, General dentists.
Lesson 4.Class 2 restoration protocol
– Deep margin elevation
– Selection and positioning of matrix band
