Orthodontist and Head of Kooalldam Dental Hospital (Incheon, South Korea, since 2002) — one of Korea's best-known multidisciplinary dental institutions, established as a full specialty hospital with departments covering all major clinical disciplines. Internationally recognized authority on MEAW (Multi-loop Edgewise Archwire) technique, temporomandibular joint-oriented orthodontic diagnosis, and the functional management of open bite and skeletal discrepancy cases.

 

Among the first orthodontists in Korea to complete formal MEAW training under Dr. Young Hee Kim (who worked directly with the technique's originator, Professor Charles J. Burstone's disciple Young-II Kim at Tufts) — attending the inaugural MEAW course in Seoul (1993–1994). TMJ and Occlusion advanced training with leading clinicians in Austria, Japan, and the USA (2000–2001). PhD in Orthodontics — Kanagawa Dental University (KDU), Japan, under the academic lineage of Professor Sadao Sato (2006).

 

DDS — Seoul National University Dental College (SNUDC, 1987); MSD in Orthodontics — SNUDC (1990). Adjunct Professor — SNUDC; Adjunct Professor — Korea University Graduate School of Clinical Dentistry; Visiting Professor — Dalian Medical University, China. Education Instructor — Korean Academy of Orthodontics (KAO).
