CV

Orthodontist and specialist in TAD-based vertical dimension control, representing the contemporary Japanese school of evidence-based orthodontics. Clinical focus covers the biomechanical management of vertical discrepancies — including gummy smile correction and prevention, absolute and relative molar intrusion, and occlusal plane management using temporary anchorage devices.

Original contributor to the clinical science of TAD-assisted vertical control, with a body of work examining the relationship between TAD positioning, lever arm length, anterior tooth axis control, and occlusal plane inclination — an area of particular relevance for complex open-bite and deep-bite cases.

International lecturer at major orthodontic congresses, including the OHI-S Orthodontic Congress series (Kyoto, 2025), presenting alongside leading figures of the Japanese orthodontic tradition.

DDS. Member of the Japanese Orthodontic Society (JOS) and Japan Association of Adult Orthodontics.
