Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics and Jaw Functional Orthopedics at the School of Dentistry, Arnaldo Jansen Faculty (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), and Professor at the School of Dentistry, Unicentro Promove. Clinical and research focus spans jaw functional orthopedics (JFO), temporomandibular disorders, dental occlusion, bite force measurement, craniofacial growth, and the application of bioengineering and nanomaterials in dental device development.

PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Bioengineering concentration) — Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Research bridges the fields of dentistry and engineering in the development and validation of functional orthopedic appliances, including a retrospective study on JFO treatment outcomes in TMD patients published in the Journal of Jaw Functional Orthopedics and Craniofacial Growth. Co-author of the Atlas of Construction of Orthopedic Functional Appliances (Portuguese edition). Member of the Academy of Dentistry of Minas Gerais.
