Dentist, researcher, and educator specializing in minimal intervention dentistry (MID) and cariology. Based in Lima, Peru. Former Faculty Member, Faculty of Dentistry, Universidad San Martín de Porres, Lima (March 2013–June 2023). Currently active in research, international lecturing, and public health dentistry. President-elect, IADR Peruvian Division (2026–2028 term).

 

Research program centered on evidence-based caries management: micro-invasive approaches (resin infiltration, sealants, silver diamine fluoride), bioactive restorative materials, the dental-public health interface for caries prevention in children, and interprofessional early childhood caries prevention models. Led a pioneering Peruvian project integrating nurses into minimal intervention caries prevention protocols in public health settings — a model subsequently recognized internationally. Invited opening lecturer at the International Operative Dentistry and Cariology World Congress (IOWC, 2025). International speaker at IADR Congresses and regional dental congresses across Latin America. Author of peer-reviewed publications in cariology and operative dentistry.
