Окончил Школу Стоматологии при Университете Стамбула в 1981. Продолжил свое обучение в Отделении Ортопедической стоматологии в Университете Кентукки, получил степень мастера в Университете Yeditepe, Стамбул.
Основатель и почетный президент EDAD (Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry). Он также является президентом Европейской Академии Эстетической Стоматологии (EAED) 2011- 2012 и членом Американского Общества Эстетической Стоматологии и почетным дипломированным специалистом Американского Совета Эстетической Стоматологии (ABAD).

Dr. Galip Gürel graduated from the Istanbul University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Galip Gurel graduated from the University of Istanbul, Dental School in 1981, He continued his education at the University of Kentucky, Department of Prosthodontics. Dr. Gurel is the founder and current president of EDAD (Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry).

He is a member of the American Society for Dental Aessthetics (ASDA) and the honorary diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD) as well as an active member of European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

He is also the editor-in-chief of the Quintessence Magazine in Turkey and on the editorial board of the AACD jourrnal, PPAD (Practical Procedure & Aesthetic Dentistry) and Spectrum.

He has been lecturing on dental aesthetics all over the world and giving post graduate lectures on aesthetics at the New York Univerrsity, New York and Yeditepe Uniiversity in Turkey. He is the author of The Science and Art of Porceelain Laminate Veneer published by Quintessence publications in 2003.

He has been practicing in his own clinic in Istanbul, specializing in Aesthetic Dentistry, since 1984.

Prosthodontist specializing in aesthetic dentistry and porcelain laminate veneers. Founder and owner of private practice in Istanbul, Turkey, exclusively dedicated to aesthetic restorative dentistry since 1984.

Over 40 years of clinical experience focusing on minimally invasive aesthetic rehabilitation with ceramic veneers, crowns, and complex interdisciplinary cases. Creator of the APT (Anterior Posterior Tooth) concept, a systematic approach to aesthetic smile design and full-mouth rehabilitation combining biological, functional, and aesthetic principles. Developed protocols for predictable veneer preparations achieving balance between tooth preservation and long-term aesthetic stability.

International lecturer teaching aesthetic dentistry courses at major universities and congresses worldwide since the 1990s.
