Program

Magnetic resonance imaging is an important tool for the imaging and diagnosis of TMJ. In some guidelines, MRI is called the gold standard for analyzing the position of the articular disc. But, unfortunately, doctors are faced with conflicting information from condylography and radiology. Correct interpretation begins with the formulation of the correct request (disc, condyle, joint space, ligaments, etc.). Therefore, the radiologist selects the required parameters (T1, T2, PD) and provides the necessary information. In addition, the dentist‘s ability to combine radiographic data with warts can improve functional diagnosis.

– Principles of MRI TMJ;

– Bone structures in MRI and condylography;

– Articular disc on MRI and condylography;

– Joint capsule, joint effusion and ligaments on MRI and condylography;

– Special „findings“ and conclusions on MRI and condylography.
