Creator of the software T3do and DMA for Orthodontic treatment planning and mechanics design.

Dr. Fiorelli obtained his medical, dental, and orthodontic postgraduate degrees at the University of Siena in Italy.

He has also co-published with Prof. Birte Melsen the “Biomechanics in Orthodontics” multimedia software.

His main professional interests are orthodontic biomechanics, use of computers within the orthodontic practice, segmented arch technique and adult orthodontic treatment.

Professor Emerita of Orthodontics, Aarhus University School of Dentistry, Denmark. Former Chair of the Department of Orthodontics, Aarhus University (1975–2012) — a position she held for 37 consecutive years. Past President of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS, 2004).

Over 60 years of contribution to orthodontics research and practice. Research focus encompassing adult orthodontics, skeletal anchorage via temporary anchorage devices, bone biology and remodeling under orthodontic forces, and the mechanics of tooth movement in adult patients. Co-designer of the Aarhus Mini-Implant (Medicon eG / ScanOrto A/S) and contributor to the scientific evidence base for immediate loading of miniscrew implants. Author of approximately 350 scientific papers and the textbook Adult Orthodontics (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012). Maintains a part-time private practice in Lübeck, Germany.

International educator with a global lecturing presence spanning six decades, addressing orthodontic societies and universities on every continent.
