Program

Join internationally renowned endodontist Dr. Claudio Farnararo for a comprehensive three-day course that blends evidence-based theory, hands-on training, and live clinical demonstration.

Designed for clinicians seeking to elevate their expertise in complex retreatment cases, this program offers both depth and practicality.

Day 1 – Theory. A deep dive into the rationale, challenges, and modern techniques in endodontic retreatment:

– Re-accessing the pulp chamber with ultrasonics
– Techniques for removing screw, fiber, and cast posts
– Removal of gutta-percha, cements, pastes, carrier-based obturations, and bioceramics
– Managing canal complications: blockages, ledges, false paths
– Retrieval of separated instruments with lasso systems
– Microscope ergonomics and clinical advantages
– MTA in perforations and open apex cases.

Day 2 – Hands-On Training. Work on extracted, pre-prepared teeth provided by Dr. Farnararo’s team. Skills covered include:

– Re-access and canal scouting techniques
– Removal of endocanal screws and fiber posts
– Cleaning protocols for various obturation materials (gutta-percha, cement, Thermafil)
– MTA application for perforations and open apex treatment
– Instrument fragment retrieval with Endo-Cowboy and lasso systems
– Bypassing ledges.

Day 3 – Live Patient Demonstration

Observe a complete endodontic retreatment performed live under an operating microscope by Dr. Farnararo. The procedure will be projected onto large screens in real time, with detailed commentary throughout.
