What you'll learn and practice:
– How to place TADs
– How to distalize the arch to achieve a Class I relationship
– Management of deep bite
– Normalizing overbites with Utility arches
– Using mini implants to improve a gummy smile
– Treatment protocols for Class II Division 2 malocclusions
– Management of open bite
– Management of high-angle cases.
Throughout the course, you will practice these advanced techniques on typodonts, allowing you to apply the newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting. Enhance your orthodontic skills and enjoy the exceptional learning experience of a workshop on a yacht in the open sea.
PROGRAM
Day 1
– How to place TADs
– How to distalise the arch to achieve Class I relationship
– Management of deep bite
– Normalising overbites with Utility arches
– Using of mini implants to improve a gummy smile
– Treatment protocols of Class II Div 2
– Protocols of TADs placement.
Day 2
– Management of open bite
– Management of high angle classes
– Intrusion of the posterior segments against mini implants.
You will practice the acquired knowledge on typodonts.
Lecturers 1
Orthodontist and researcher based in Hong Kong; Founder, President, and Director of Professor Rabie's Institute of Graduate Orthodontics. Clinical and research focus spans functional appliance therapy for skeletal Class II malocclusions, TAD-assisted non-extraction and extraction mechanics, open-bite and deep-bite management, and the craniofacial growth response to functional jaw orthopedics.
Former Professor and Head of the Orthodontics Department at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Faculty of Dentistry, where he led an internationally recognized research program in craniofacial growth and condylar adaptation. Co-founder of CloudOrtho — a digital orthodontic planning company. Author of an extensive body of research published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (IJOMFS), Journal of Surgery, Angle Orthodontist, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and other indexed journals. Multiple international award recipient for best published research.
Keynote speaker at the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), European Orthodontic Society (EOS), and regional orthodontic conferences in Latin America and Africa.
