Periodontist and implantologist specializing in bone augmentation, soft tissue management, and advanced implant surgery. Periodontist at Vilnius Implantology Center (VIC Clinic), one of Lithuania's most advanced dental facilities.

 

Over 20 years of clinical experience focusing on guided bone regeneration, ridge splitting techniques, sinus augmentation, and decompression technique for lateral bone augmentation in posterior mandible. Developed innovative protocols for bone augmentation achieving predictable long-term results. Active researcher in periodontal and implant therapy with focus on cement excess detection, peri-implant tissue management, and biological complications prevention.

 

International lecturer and course instructor delivering practical hands-on training programs at national and international levels. Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), partner since 2010 and full member since 2017. Recipient of ITI Poster Presentation Prize at 2010 ITI Congress in Geneva for research on "The influence of margin location on the amount of undetected cement excess after delivery of cement-retained implant restorations."

Author and co-author of numerous publications on aesthetic complications in implant dentistry and their prevention. International lecturer presenting extensively throughout Europe, Americas, and worldwide on topics including aesthetic implant surgery, prevention and treatment of aesthetic complications with long-term outcome analysis, socket preservation and reconstruction, immediate implant and loading protocols, phenotype evaluation and augmentation techniques, prosthetic material selection, abutment design in aesthetic implant dentistry, and functional considerations in implant therapy. Co-instructor with Dr. Jonathan Esquivel for comprehensive hands-on workshops teaching from single implant to full-arch rehabilitation with live surgery demonstrations. Faculty at major implant congresses throughout Europe presenting master cases and long-term outcome analysis. Implantologist and prosthodontist in private practice in Athens (Greece, since 2006), with clinical focus on immediate implant placement, the Root Membrane Technique (RMT) — a socket-shield variant for alveolar ridge preservation — bone augmentation, and implant-supported prosthodontic rehabilitation. Periodontist, implantologist, and prosthodontist in private practice in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan (since 1998). One of Japan's most internationally visible implantology lecturers, active on the global DentalXP platform and recognized by the World's Top Doctors initiative. Trained in periodontology under the direct guidance of Prof. Gianfranco Carnevale — one of the founders of European evidence-based periodontology and former President of both the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP) and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) — bringing a distinctively Italian-European periodontal philosophy to a Japanese clinical context. Clinical expertise in the intersection of periodontics, implant surgery and prosthetics, and esthetic prosthodontics — specifically the management of complex multi-tooth cases with severe bone loss, combining tooth preservation decisions with implant planning.
