A 5-day practice on splint therapy with Gregor Slavicek is the most powerful practical training on this topic!

 

Be prepared for theory, demonstrations and PRACTICE.

 

During 5 days of training you will:


– study all stages of working with splints: diagnosis, intermediate control, final stages of treatment
– learn the protocols of splint therapy for temporomandibular disorder, orofacial pain, displacement of the articular disc, bruxism
– work out a full protocols of muscle palpation and condylography
– manufacture different types of splints under the supervision of professor Slavicek.

Founder and CEO of OREHAB MINDS GmbH, Stuttgart, Germany (since January 2019), a company focused on digital functional diagnostics and development of advanced diagnostic systems for masticatory function. Former Director of the BID (Biomedical Interdisciplinary Dentistry) Transfer Institute at Steinbeis University Berlin (2008-2021). Specialist in functional dentistry, gnathology, and interdisciplinary treatment of craniomandibular disorders. Maintains private practice at Zahnmedizin im Rudolfinerhaus, Vienna, Austria, as Research Fellow focusing on clinical studies in craniomandibular disorders, clinical functional analysis, and occlusion medicine.

 

Over 40 years of combined clinical, academic, and research experience in functional dentistry and temporomandibular disorders. Expert in systematic functional analysis (SFA), condylography, clinical functional analysis, splint therapy, and full-mouth occlusal rehabilitation based on the renowned Slavicek Concept developed by his father, Professor Rudolf Slavicek. Pioneer in developing digital diagnostic technologies including the Orehab Condylocomp LR system for precise condylar movement registration and Freecorder Bluefox for digital jaw tracking. Research focuses on TMJ biomechanics, bruxism, occlusal design, and cybernetic approaches to stomatognathic system disorders.

Clinical and teaching profile centered on the Slavicek interdisciplinary concept of functional dentistry — the evidence-based approach to total occlusal rehabilitation developed by Prof. Rudolf Slavicek (Vienna). Completed the full MSc program in Biomedical Interdisciplinary Dentistry (2018–2021) at the Berlin/Stuttgart/Turin Institute under the direct supervision of Prof. Gregor Slavicek, with formal thesis defense and award of the European academic title of Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Dentistry. Additional advanced training in the MEAW (Multi-loop Edgewise Archwire) orthodontic technique — the orthodontic application of the Sato functional philosophy — at courses in Rome under Dr. Dario D'Alessio and Dr. Monica Casadei (2018–2019).
