Gregor Slavichek's seminar, where you will acquire all the necessary skills and tools for structuring and presenting clinical cases!


During the course, you will learn about the following key aspects: 


– сommon challenges in presenting a clinical case 

– interpretation of radiological analysis

– index assessment of stomatognathic system

– techniques for palpating muscles and joints

– application of Bruxchecker for evaluating the presence and the degree of bruxism.

PROGRAM


– Diagnostic methods:


- posture photographs

- intraoral X-rays

- impressions

- radiographic diagnostics (cephalometry, MRI, CBCT)

- сondylography.


– Collection of medical and dental history

– Conducting neurological screening

– Occlusal index: interpretation guidelines

– Muscle and joint palpation techniques

– Methods of mandible movements studying 

– Subjective and objective assessment

– Conducting a chewing test

– Application of BruxChecker.

Lecturers 1

Professor at Steinbeis University Berlin, Germany (appointed 2011). Founder and CEO of OREHAB MINDS GmbH, Stuttgart, Germany (since January 2019), a company focused on digital functional diagnostics and development of advanced diagnostic systems for masticatory function. Former Director of the BID (Biomedical Interdisciplinary Dentistry) Transfer Institute at Steinbeis University Berlin (2008-2021). Specialist in functional dentistry, gnathology, and interdisciplinary treatment of craniomandibular disorders. Maintains private practice at Zahnmedizin im Rudolfinerhaus, Vienna, Austria, as Research Fellow focusing on clinical studies in craniomandibular disorders, clinical functional analysis, and occlusion medicine.

 

Over 40 years of combined clinical, academic, and research experience in functional dentistry and temporomandibular disorders. Expert in systematic functional analysis (SFA), condylography, clinical functional analysis, splint therapy, and full-mouth occlusal rehabilitation based on the renowned Slavicek Concept developed by his father, Professor Rudolf Slavicek. Pioneer in developing digital diagnostic technologies including the Orehab Condylocomp LR system for precise condylar movement registration and Freecorder Bluefox for digital jaw tracking. Research focuses on TMJ biomechanics, bruxism, occlusal design, and cybernetic approaches to stomatognathic system disorders.

 

Honorary Member of the Romanian Dental and Maxillo-Facial Prosthetic Society (2019). Honorary Member of the Italian Association of Gnathology (AIG, 2017). Visiting Professor at First Moscow State Medical University (I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University), Russia (2013, 2014-2018). Honorary Professor at Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy (2012). Permanent Member of the University Council, Steinbeis University Berlin. Former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Stomatology and Occlusion Medicine (2008-2010). Author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications in international journals on gnathology, TMJ disorders, functional analysis, and occlusion. Co-author of recent publications including "Occlusion and TMJ: Systematic Approach to Oral Splints" in Stomatological Education Journal (2024). International lecturer teaching the Slavicek Concept worldwide with extensive courses in Europe, Asia, and Middle East on condylography, functional wax-up, interdisciplinary dentistry, and splint therapy. Director of comprehensive 2-year modular programs on "Interdisciplinary Dentistry in the Slavicek Concept" in Vienna, teaching systematic diagnostics and full occlusal rehabilitation.
