Over 25 years of clinical and academic experience treating complex orthodontic cases using miniscrew-driven biomechanics. Pioneer in demonstrating the miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expander (MARPE) for adults, publishing the landmark MARPE study in American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO), which has been extensively cited internationally. Research focuses on clinical biomechanics of TAD applications, non-extraction treatment in adults, lingual orthodontic mechanics, surgery-first approaches using TADs, and bone/suture responses to orthodontic forces.
