– Treatment of stage I-III periodontitis by S3-level clinical practice guideline (S3 CPG);
– Step 2: non-surgical treatment:
- Traditional and novel methods for subgingival instrumentation,
- Role of adjunctive therapies (e.g. local and systemic antimicrobials, probiotics, etc.);
– Step 3: surgical treatment:
- Access surgery,
- Resective surgery,
- Regenerative approaches to achieve the goals of periodontal therapy.
