Research focus on periodontal wound healing and regeneration, enamel matrix derivatives, growth factors, lasers and photodynamic therapy in treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, and novel regenerative approaches. Director of numerous multi-center randomized controlled clinical trials establishing evidence-based protocols for periodontal regeneration.
