Los grandes fracasos en ortodoncia proceden de no planificar y evaluar correctamente a los pacientes, por lo tanto es indispensable un correcto plan de tratamiento para así tener un mejor éxito. De hecho, el destino del paciente está signado por el plan de tratamiento decidido por el clínico tratante. Esta clase ahonda en las áreas comunes que deben considerarse durante el proceso de la planificación del tratamiento.
El planeamiento en ortodoncia  comprende toda la estructuración utilizando como herramienta todos los exámenes auxiliares y análisis hechos a tus pacientes para llegar a un diagnóstico, una vez obtenida esta información podrás crear un plan de tratamiento con la utilización del resolutivo del análisis de steiner  que permitirá tener una vista de las posibles rutas para resolver la maloclusión  y saber si matemáticamente es posible ejecutar tu plan de tratamiento; Haciendo las cosas de esta manera tu margen de error se reducirá al mínimo.
