En este vídeo abordaremos aspectos estáticos y dinámicos de la oclusión humana. Describiremos las características de la oclusión normal. Evaluaremos los siguientes items de la oclusión normal: relación molar, relación canina, el over jet y over bite, línea media dental, relación premolar tweedeana, angulación dental e inclinación dental.
También, veremos el concepto de máxima intercuspidación, diferenciando la de función de parafunción.
Evaluaremos la símetria y proporción de las arcadas dentales, donde describiremos las líneas oclusales interna, media y externa.
Analizaremos los cambios en la oclusión por envejecimiento, además comentaremos aspectos de la guía incisiva, guía canina y su relación con la articulación temporomandibular.
