CASO CLÍNICO: Paciente con dientes muy oscuros, más tratamiento endodóntico antiguo y pérdida de inserción periodontal. El tratamiento adecuado para el paciente fue una elaboración de carillas en resina compuesta.
DESAFÍO: Enmascarar sustratos oscurecidos son un desafío en odontología. El tono rosa de Pink Opaquer (PO) de Filtek™ Universal matiza mejor con los colores de la escala Vita. Un blanco muy opaco, al contrario, tiende a destacar en exceso sobre las capas subsecuentes, exigiendo más destreza del operador en el manejo de los espesores siguientes.
