Para hacerlo deben usar técnicas apropiadas, generalmente caracterizadas por esquemas preoperatorios cortos. Los esquemas postoperatorios pueden ser convenientes en cirugías de larga duración, casos en donde se ha realizado osteotomía o en la terapia de abscesos complicados.
