Over 40 years of clinical and academic experience in orthodontics since graduating in 1985. Trained directly under Professor Sadao Sato at Kanagawa Dental University for three years, becoming one of Sato's principal students and leading exponents of MEAW/GEAW philosophy in Latin America. Completed PhD at Kanagawa Dental University (2014-2017) with dissertation titled "Morphological Characterization of Mandibular Lateral Displacement using 3D CBCT," establishing scientific foundation for diagnosis and treatment of asymmetric malocclusions. Researcher in Department of Orthodontics at Colombian Dental College focusing on vertical control, occlusal plane management, and interdisciplinary treatment approaches.
International lecturer presenting worldwide on Gummetal orthodontics, advanced biomechanics, vertical control in complex cases, occlusal plane management, and interdisciplinary treatment combining orthodontics with occlusal therapy and TMJ treatment. Faculty member of IDEA three-year program teaching "Orthodontics Related to Function, Occlusion and the Cranio-Mandibular System" alongside Professor Sadao Sato and Dr. Heike Kraemer since 2007. Master class instructor teaching practical application of Gummetal arches for non-surgical treatment of severe skeletal malocclusions.

Specialist in biomechanics of orthodontic treatment using Gummetal archwires, enabling superior three-dimensional tooth movement control and non-surgical correction of severe vertical and sagittal discrepancies. Published research on CBCT analysis of mandibular displacement and asymmetry.
