С 1994 по 2005 год адъюнкт-профессор по пародонтологии в Университете Турина (Италия) и с 2006 по 2016 год адъюнкт-профессор по пародонтологии в Университете Пенсильвании в Филадельфии (США), в настоящее время он отвечает за курс непрерывного образования в области пластической хирургии тканей пародонта в университете Humanitas в Милане (Италия). Активный член Итальянского общества пародонтологии и Итальянской академии остеоинтеграции.

Лауреат премии имени Х. М. Голдмана за клинические исследования в области пародонтологии

Автор нескольких публикаций в международных рецензируемых журналах и - вместе с доктором Джузеппе Корренте - двух учебников по вопросам пародонтологии и имплантологии. Является соавтором четырех глав в учебнике.

From 1994 to 2005 Adjunct Professor in Periodontology at the University of Torino (Italy) and from 2006 to 2016 Adjunct Professor in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (USA), currently he is in charge for the Continuing Education Course in Periodontal Plastic Surgery at Humanitas University in Milan (Italy). Active Member of S.I.d.P. (Italian Society of Periodontology) and I.A.O. (Italian Academy of Osseointegration).

Winner of the H. M. Goldman prize for clinical research in Periodontology from S.I.d.P. in 2000 and of the E.A.O. (European Academy for Osseointegration) prize for clinical research in Implantology in 2010.

Author of several publications in international peer reviewed journals and - together with Dr Giuseppe Corrente – of two textbooks on periodontal and implant topics.

He is also co-author of four chapters in textbook on the same topics.

Scientific Director of Dentalmedtv, web tv on the world of dentistry.

Private practice at Sicor in Torino, with practice limited to periodontal and implant surgery.

Periodontologist and implantologist. Adjunct Professor of Periodontology, University of Turin, Italy (1994–2005). Adjunct Professor of Periodontology, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, USA (2006–2016) — where he also delivered the continuing education course on Esthetic Treatment of Recession Defects. Currently in charge of the Continuing Education Course in Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Humanitas University, Milan, Italy. Scientific Director, DentalMedTV — an Italian web television channel dedicated to dentistry. Private practice exclusively limited to periodontal and implant surgery at Sicor, Turin.

Author of multiple publications in international peer-reviewed periodontal and implant journals — most recently on periodontal reconstructive surgery with improved papilla architecture (PubMed, 2025). Co-author (with Dr. Giuseppe Corrente) of two Italian-language textbooks: Impianti Post-estrattivi Immediati and Rialzo del Seno Mascellare per Via Crestale — covering immediate post-extraction implant placement and crestal sinus floor elevation, respectively. Co-author of four chapters in international dental textbooks.

Recipient, H.M. Goldman Prize for Clinical Research in Periodontology, Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP, 2000). Recipient, EAO Prize for Clinical Research in Implantology, European Association for Osseointegration (2010). Active Member, Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP).
