Founder and Owner of The Raman Center for Advanced Dentistry, Kansas City, Missouri (practicing since 1983). Specialist in neuromuscular dentistry with focus on temporomandibular disorders, aesthetic dentistry, sleep-disordered breathing, and complex restorative rehabilitation. President of the Missouri Dental Association. Member of the ADA Council on Dental Education and Licensure. Chair of the Recognition of Dental Specialties and Interest Areas in General Dentistry Committee.

Over 42 years of clinical experience in comprehensive dentistry integrating neuromuscular principles. Expert in diagnosis and management of complex TMD cases using electromyography (EMG), joint vibration analysis (JVA), and computerized mandibular scanning (CMS). Master of both the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (MICCMO, 2007) and Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVIM, 2008), the first dentist in North America to achieve both mastership designations simultaneously. Clinical practice focuses on four areas of excellence: neuromuscular dentistry/TMD treatment, aesthetic/complex restorative dentistry, neuromuscular functional orthodontics, and sleep-disordered breathing/oral appliance therapy.

Past President of the International Association for Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA) and Greater Kansas City Dental Society. Delegate to the ADA House of Delegates. Fellow of the American College of Dentists (FACD) and Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA). Member of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO), American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), and American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Selected by the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs as a TMD Expert to participate in the Science Forum at the 2011 ADA Annual Meeting. Former Senior Clinical Instructor, Featured Speaker, and Regional Director at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. International lecturer having presented in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, and throughout the United States on neuromuscular diagnosis and treatment of TMD, aesthetic dentistry, and sleep disorders. Instructor for Myotronics-sponsored courses on TMD treatment using bio-electronic instrumentation.
