Manoel Lima Machado

Professor of Endodontics and one of Brazil's most senior academic endodontists, with over 40 years of combined clinical and university experience. Affiliated with the University of São Paulo — Brazil's highest-ranked university and one of Latin America's preeminent research institutions — where his published research on NiTi instrumentation systems and root canal disinfection has been cited more than 2,300 times (Google Scholar).

Co-author of landmark studies on the comparative efficacy of rotary and reciprocating NiTi systems (including WaveOne), bacterial reduction protocols, and sealer distribution in root canal obturation — published in the Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal, and Brazilian Oral Research. Co-author of the widely cited 2019 SciELO review on nickel-titanium instruments in endodontics alongside Ove Peters.
