Professor and Chairman of the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zurich, Switzerland (since January 2022). Specialist in prosthodontics, oral surgery, and implant therapy with over 25 years of combined clinical, research, and teaching experience. Maintains limited private practice alongside full-time academic position.

Extensive clinical expertise in aesthetic implant dentistry, complex bone and soft tissue augmentation procedures, guided bone regeneration (GBR), immediate implant placement, and digital workflows for implant prosthodontics. Research focuses on hard and soft tissue management around implants, new technologies in implant dentistry including digital planning and guided surgery, biomaterials for bone regeneration, and long-term outcomes of implant therapy.
