Dr. David Gonzalez is a Specialist Member of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration since 2000 and European Federation of Periodontology

Dr. David González received the Prize for Best Course of the Year 2010 by the Dental Council of Aragon, Spain. He also won the Prize for Best Communication in the Annual meeting of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration in 2007.

Dr. Gonzalez is a visiting profesor of the postgraduate program of Periodontology in the University of Barcelona (2003-currently).

He has more than 40 publications in Spanish language and 8 as 1º author in the Journal of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration, which is the journal with the highest impact factor in the Spanish language world.

Dr. David González is the director of the monographic courses on Periodontal and Implant Regenerative and Plastic Surgery, which take place at Clinica OrtoPerio.

Dr. David González is the director of the 1-year “Course of Periodontal and Implant Surgery” which takes place at Clinica OrtoPerio.

Since 2005 Dr. David González runs a private practice dedicated exclusively to Periodontology and Implantology (Clinica OrtoPerio in Murcia (Spain)).

Periodontist and implantologist in exclusive private practice at Clínica OrtoPerio, Murcia, Spain (since 2004) — one of Spain's national reference centers for bone regeneration and implant dentistry. Visiting Professor and Collaborating Professor of Periodontology, Postgraduate Master's Program in Periodontology, University of Barcelona (since 2002). Professor of Clinical Training Courses, Consejo General de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de España (General Dental Council of Spain, since 2003).

Clinical expertise in periodontal plastic surgery, guided bone regeneration, advanced sinus floor elevation, complex three-dimensional bone reconstruction, and implant-supported rehabilitation in regenerated and compromised sites. Director of the annual monographic courses at Clínica OrtoPerio on Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Advanced Bone Regeneration, Maxillary Sinus Elevation, and Complex 3D Bone Regeneration (since 2005), and Director of the Annual Modular Course in Periodontal and Implant Surgery at Clínica OrtoPerio (since 2018). Author and co-author of more than 40 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Winner, Best Video Communication Award, Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA), Seville, 2007 ("Periodontal Regeneration: What Is the Limit?").
