Program

Clinical predictability meets surgical simplicity—this training reveals how modern GBR can be transformed into a structured, reproducible, and efficient protocol for everyday practice.

Ridge defects remain one of the most common challenges following tooth extraction, with up to 50% loss of the original bone and soft tissue volume.

Led by Roberto Rossi, a lecturer renowned throughout Europe for his expertise in Guided Bone Regeneration, this course introduces a refined approach to managing ridge defects using the Cortical Lamina Technique.

This course focuses on simplified GBR protocols that enhance stability, reduce complications, and allow clinicians to confidently manage both horizontal and vertical defects using collagenated cortical lamina.

During the seminar, you will learn about:

Biological principles of bone regeneration and wound healing
Patterns of post-extraction bone resorption and their clinical implications
Step-by-step protocols for horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation
The GBR technique with cortical sheets
Technique Modifications: F.I.R.S.T. (Fibrinogen Induced Regenerative Sealing Technique) and LEGO and their combinations
Graft selection and combination strategies for predictable outcomes
Flap design, tension-free closure, and suturing techniques.

During the hands-on session (on models), you will perform:

Flap design and periosteal releasing incisions
Placement and stabilization of bone graft materials
Implementation of F.I.R.S.T. and LEGO techniques
Adaptation and fixation of cortical lamina membranes
Suturing techniques for achieving tension-free closure.

A unique combination of simplified protocols and advanced biomaterials allows clinicians to achieve highly predictable results while reducing surgical complexity—making this course a powerful upgrade for anyone seeking to master modern bone augmentation techniques.
