Over 50 years of combined academic and clinical experience in endodontics. Served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Endodontics at multiple institutions including Medical College of Virginia (1975-1976), University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (1976-1982), and Baylor College of Dentistry (1982-2014).
