ANALYSIS AND REVIEW OF LONG-TERM RESULTS IN IMPLANTOLOGY AND PERIODONTOLOGY
OF THE ONLINE COURSE
During the 8 webinar course we will show and analyze the long-term outcomes of applying different techniques, and this will make your surgical practice more successful and predictable.
Meanwhile, we will talk not only about successful long-term outcomes, but also about the errors when using different techniques and approaches.

The main problem in achieving a long-term and stable result in prosthetics using implants is a lack of knowledge and experience in planning and treatment protocols, as well as monitoring patients who have undergone it. This issue requires a close interaction between qualified professionals. Also, it is difficult to overestimate the role of technical support.
1. The components of successful implantology.2. The role of the prosthodontist as the final agent.
3. Interdisciplinary approach, interaction and expert evaluation.
4. Planning of the emergence profile and its impact on implant survival rate.
5. Characteristics of immediate implantation. Temporary and clinical.
6. Clinical standards in implantology.
7. Change of principles and approaches when performing implant prosthodontics.
8. Analysis of long-term prosthodontic results.
9. Conclusions.

Finally we speak about esthetic implant complications and expose different surgical and prosthodontic solutions depending on the clinical situation we are facing. We use a multidisciplinary approach to enhance the predictability of the results and consider the conventional alternatives as well and not only the implant placement option.
1. Main esthetic complications in implant dentistry.
2. Prevention of esthetic complications boosting the biotype.
3. Long term stability of the results after Immediate Implant Placement.
4. Advantages and disadvantages of IIP versus Delayed Implant Placement in the esthetic area.
5. Keypoints with Immediate Implants to get predictable results Dr Meda protocol for Full Mouth Rehabilitation and how to get predictable and esthetic results: Digitally Planned Immediate, Implant Loading with a Soft Tissue, Approach.
6. Treatment of Implant Complications depending on the diagnosis: different approaches.
7. Perio-Prostho approach to treat esthetic implant complications.
8. Long term stability of results after treating implant complications.
9. Short literature review and conclusions.

Key factors in the treatment of the posterior mandibula to place implants have become a routine procedure, and results can be achieved with a high predictability. Because of the variety of treatment options available today the analysis of the case and treatment planning have become an even more important treatment step. The most challenging field is still to augment the bone and to have stable crestal bone around implants. Wich bone augmentation technique is the best choice in posterior madibula? And what is the predictability of these techniques? Understanding the limits from the biological point of view and the limits of each technique is mandatory in order to plan a case. This lecture will focus on the “state of the art” of implant placement protocol as well as on bone and soft tissue regeneration in posterior mandibula.
1. What are long term results of different techniques for bone augmentation
2. Bone block, bone splitting or guided bone regeneration?
3. What could be improved during preparation and surgery?
4. What bone material is the best choice for lateral bone augmentation?
5. Advantages of Decompression technique for lateral bone augmentation.
6. Summary and conclusion with clear take home massage will be presented during the lecture.

Loss of blood supply derived from the periodontal ligament (PDL) has been identified as a major etiologic factor for ridge resorption. Animal studies and Human Histological recently published stuies and case reports provide proof-of-principle data on the feasibility of immediate implant placement in proximity to a retained root fragment for the strategic preservation of the natural tooth apparatus. This novel concept relies on the preservation of PDL, buccal bone and soft tissue esthetics via selective preservation of the buccal portion of the root and PDL. This can lead to predictable and sustainable clinical stability of immediately placed and loaded implants. In this presentation the step by step clinical procedure, the use of the Root Membrane kit, the long term results and the clinical progress after 10 years of using this technique will be presented.
At this training you will learn all the details and features of the technique. Also on an interactive basis i will help you to learn step by step all the process. Finally, we will show you the procedure of the "root membrane technique". Each participant will successfully install at least 2-4 implants using this technique.

Clinicians must be aware of patient expectations when planning dental treatment. When full mouth reconstruction is planned, it is very important to satisfy such expec-tations in order to provide successful treatment. Patients are often concerned about the cost and duration of treatment, and the pain, esthetics, comfort, and function after treatment. However, we cannot assure longevity unless the treatment has a scientific basis.
During reconstruction or restoration, we generally remove and replace the existing crowns. Secondary caries are mostly detected on removal of these. Due to the caries, the ferrule and tooth thickness are not adequate;and frequently, the condition may not be suitable for prosthetic treatment. In such cases, we choose to extract the tooth or perform crown lengthening to retain the tooth. These days many teeth that we could retain by crown lengthening procedure are replaced by implants. We describe some cases in which a crown lengthening procedure had to be performed in anterior and posterior areas to retain the teeth, followed by soft tissue management and final es-thetic restoration. The treatment plan, procedure, progress and results are presented here.
On the other hand, unfortunately there are many teeth that can’t be retained. It goes without saying that Implant therapy is necessary to keep a long-term good oral condi-tion with esthetically and functional. When we need Implant therapy, how should we use? In order to make the natural oral condition , reconstruction of soft and hard tis-sue is needed. We describe some cases with implant therapy. And after patients and clinicians satisfy the esthetic, functional and very natural results, when and what con-dition of the true treatment endpoint patients should be reached. After we reach the true treatment endpoint. patients should be shifted into the maintenance stage.
